CHRISTOPHER LUNA
Raised in a family business, Christopher Luna brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, human resources, and accounting to his work as a relationship-driven leader and community builder. He is deeply passionate about giving back and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs and civic leaders across California.
Christopher’s family has been in the Mexican product industry since 1982. His parents were among the early pioneers of importing and distributing Hispanic products throughout the United States. Building on this foundation, Christopher launched a successful career in banking and insurance, holding roles at State Farm Insurance, Farmers Insurance, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo. Alongside his wife, he helped grow the family business before ultimately selling it to pursue a broader mission of supporting and advocating for businesses and communities statewide.
While earning his Master of Business Administration, Christopher served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, where he built relationships with corporations, nonprofits, and community leaders while advancing initiatives that promoted economic growth and community impact.
Today, Christopher is the Publisher and CEO of California Leaders, a multimedia platform that includes a magazine, podcast, and leadership experiences dedicated to spotlighting the people shaping California’s future. Through long-form storytelling and curated conversations, California Leaders highlights leadership journeys that go beyond titles, celebrating the values, resilience, and service behind the work.
A former business owner, board member, and fundraiser, Christopher understands the realities entrepreneurs and organizations face as they grow and adapt. He remains committed to strengthening communities, elevating leadership voices, and creating platforms that foster collaboration and impact. Above all, he is driven by a desire to leave a meaningful legacy for his two sons and daughter rooted in leadership, integrity, and service.
